Thermovent® Residential Grade
The Next Generation of Glass Block Ventilators
|
 |
Insulated Glass Unit
Our exclusive use of the insulated glass unit makes it three times more energy efficient than typical dual glazed vents.
Welded Frame and Sash
The most preferred construction method of vinyl window extrusions. Significantly stronger than typical mechanically fastened vents.
Provides an air-tight seal.
Rivnut Fastening
This method eliminates the chance of screws stripping the frame or sash. Screws are installed directly into rivnuts which are attached to the vinyl. The screw is applied with threadlocker to prevent loosening. This prevents the loosening of the sash door when opened and closed repeatedly making the vent more durable.
Hinges
Manufactured with 1/8" aluminum bar stock which is the heaviest material used by any vent manufacturer.
Dual Durometer Seal
The bubble seal is extruded directly with the sash.
We use the largest bubble seal in the industry. This one step process is the key to making an air tight seal.
Latch
They are made from ZAKMAK #3. a high strength, space age Zinc alloy and powdr coated for exact color match.
Vinyl Extrusion
The highest quality GEON® vinyl is used. U.V. stabilized to maintain overall durability and performance.
"Keylocks"
This extrusion design allows the mortar to surround the grooves making a stronger bond than to a flat vinyl surface.
